just the existence of these silly animated emotes on the forums alone make me adore Klei.

But the devs are also incredibly interactive with us on the forums, and even go above & beyond in updates & service for the games they create.

I mean personally: if I was a Developer I would tell you all off when you expected ME to fix your unofficial gameplay mods for you, but I have seen on occasion where the developers will literally go out of their way to fix unofficial content mods their updates have broken.

Would you get that with ANY OTHER game company? Lmao… yeah I think not.

So Klei Devs get huge cookies (& ShopCat emotes) in my books.

theres a lot i like about dont starve / together but the game would be significantly worse without maxwell's quote for the polar bearger bin

I'm a Don't Starve veteran by now, been here since 2013 (sure I took a long break from the forums, but I did still play the game at times) so the fact that I still return to these forums 10 years later says something.

Now this makes me quite nostalgic. All those years ago the devs created a wonderfully unique game with a cool art style and funny puns and a dark sense of humor that I really enjoyed then, and still do. They also offered tools and advice to build mods for free and were generally super helpful and interactive with the community. Not to mention all the puzzles and lore reveals that happened outside the game and practically became a game of their own with the community working together on these forums - long before Don't Starve Together allowed players to cooperate in-game. Many things have changed over the years, but I was welcomed back to the forums with that same kindness and generosity by Klei when I returned, and the regular updates and animated shorts for DST exceed anything anyone could (or should) ask for. Now there are multiple games too, and so much content and the promise for more to come. I can't wait to see what comes next and where the story will go, and I'm so grateful that it's still ongoing after all this time! Thank you for all the good times Klei! ❤
