Better methods of mid to late game transportation

There is nothing wrong with beefalos and some claim the opposite. They are great (I will be focusing on their speed boost and transportation just now). They are similar to the elytra in minecraft. Some people dislike them for being "op", though at the end of the day, moving from point A to B once you have explored the map is very boring and a waste of time. Beefalos cut this speed alot which is far more fun (and healthy since you spend more time doing fun things and save time do do things in real life). 

So what i am trying to say, is that dst needs better existing and new transporation methods. Wanda teleports are good though exclusive, and wormholes are unpredictable. The telelocator is very outdated, gimmicky and expensive compared to other options. That could use some updating to fix some issues, while still not outclassing Wanda or messing with the existing mob teleportation niche.

Well wortox is also an option. I think the lazy deserter is another great way but it requires teamwork which i know everyone hates lol.

Dunno if there can be another way that wont outclass wanda or wortox tbh. Teleport for both of these characters are core perks. Its like buffing pigs as followers would 100% hurt wurts usefulness.

I think rider is the best non-character specific solo way to move around and i find that its pretty great. I actually rather use a rider than be forced to stay as wanda for her network. So a new teleport method would make my decision not to main her even more conclusive.

The cost of telelocator could be reduced to make it more viable, e.g. gold nuggets or blue gems or red gems instead of purple gems for the station and no living logs for the staff. Or enlightened crown shards could be placed in the sockets for purple gems to eternally power them, but telelocator staff would need a menu for choosing which station you want to teleport to, perhaps make them possible to select on the map when holding the staff for clicking on them to result in using the staff and teleporting to that station. Maybe even spark arks, although that'd probably be too annoying to farm for.

I don't know where I saw this suggestion, but I whole heartedly agree with impunity and might even send an email to the Tencent CEO with a corporate powerpoint presentation of how it would raise profits by 10%.

 

The suggestion was that every character should be able to use Wanda's backtrek watch if they pay a purple gem.

It won't step on wanda's feet because her ability to transport is free and she does more damage than everyone else.

Followers should be reworked with more utility imo. I like the ideas that they mentioned in that cult of the lamb community posts.

I can try make my thread for concept of reworked telelocator. I had some ideas.

Maybe something could be done with wormholes. Maybe something that lets you use a wormhole, and lets you exit at any other wormhole you have been through previously.
