it's just absolutely brokentier trait compared to anything else. with upgrade you go from 50% to 100% health restoration upon death. that's you legit being able to pack 3 health potions pretty much. runs where I don't get this trait are like 30% less win chance on bosses lmao.

hammer - still feels weak in comparison to spear, same with cannon. spear is just still best in slot weapon as it seems due to the immense dps and mobility it gives. idk, surely klei knows this? why aren't they addressing it ...

They might be having balance changes on their own dev branch of the game and just want us to give feedback on the multiplayer experience and not much else, they might save that for Early Access. But it seems like some changes has seeped through this branch, like a new enemy in the Bog, and Cannon having some weird new stuff I havent figured out (like doing grounded shotgun blast from planting your cannon, recovering from being down with a ground shotgun blast and superarmor while doing Mortar)

I'd say Mulligan is about as good as Iron Brew, Waffle, or Bloodthirsty. And it's part of the design to have crutch powers/combinations so you can make mistakes against the harsh attacks that down you in a few hits.

Hammer is strong with its AoE and the ground attack invulnerability you get with AABB while taking less effort to get focus hits. Cannon's main selling point is the range that lets you cheese things that aren't fast swarms and don't have ranged/lunge attacks, but it may have more potential if you can master it.
