After the one second chances at life it just seems a bit redundant

the reason I’m considering the  death transformation is I want to make them stand out not just another switcher doodle not that there’s anything wrong with it just like I send I want it stand out , I think any Webber main would jump at the opportunity to make there spiders last longer, to stroll up  with an untainted shadow/lunar spider gang without leaving the spider types that work for you behind all still qualify as forces of shadow/lunar  because upon death they all  become creatures of shadow/lunar them selves so put simply the transformation would allow the shadow/mutate spider to be a add on rather then a replacement 

That being send  I was thinking about a  description  of  a part of the moonbound skin for Webber I don’t remember weather it was the torso or the legs but anyway It said the extra hair was to keep him warm on the moon  so I was think what if the lunar aligned Webber could stay warm longer I was all thinking  if I did this for lunar I would need to do something for shadow sense there reflections of one another so what if I make it cool faster but triumphant Webber has more hair then normal Webber but maybe these hairs are specialized to help release heat I feel like I’ve heard of animals that can do that but then again that feels like to much and gimmicky if you think I shouldn’t do it do you have any reasons that makes sense in the lore that it would work on the moon but not in the constant even though we have a peace of the moon as the lunar island 

oh and sense I’m starting to lean more the way of death transformation (I’m not 100%  yet so if you still are  against it feel free to give me reasons not too) do you think I should build the abilities of  lunar/shadow crowning candy in to the alignments without the need for an item sense I don’t need it to fill out the new crafts sense I’d be removing the main craft or do you think I should take a different path

I think upon death transformations is a really cool idea, like horror hounds right? But know I’m thinking of ideas for making them be able to revive multiple times but each time they revive they get stronger & are based off their respective bosses!

Lunar spiders first revive will be based on first phase lunar guardian, second revive will be second phase lunar guardian, etc.

No replacements needed, for your idea & for the spiders

What if it was a 3 skill path for both alignments giving spiders open death a new phase of their respective spiders? So any spider can become lunar/shadow aligned they only have to die first & depending on how many lunar aligned skills you have will give you the amount of phases your spider has?

It’s sort of like horror hound, originally  I was going to do a hound to horror hound/ancients to nightmare creatures  but that didn’t work with the design I’m going for then I thought warping in on it’s self and restructure it’s self but now I think about it they can they can break out like horror hounds I make it a molting thing and do something like the Abigail stat increase because the exoskeletons are hardening I’m thinking they can revive 3 times and the spider types are based off of the triumphant and moonbound skins just without the queen looking parts

Do you mean new phases on the alignment spiders or do you mean new phases  of the alignment versions of the spiders that died because they all become the the same type of alignment spiders if they were shadow/lunar versions of all the different types of spiders that would be to much to design and code I’m trying for something fun but also reasonable so the dev consider it

so I’m thinking 

die one time shadow/mutated spider 

die two times shadow/mutated warrior spider 

die three times shadow/mutated  nurse spider 

unless you have a different  idea for different phases

How does this work

Alignments:

shadow:

shadow widower I: 

upon death a befriended spider will molt into a shadow spider and over a period of day there shell will harden they will grow stronger with it 

you can keep  cool longer in summer and if you have the bite skill it provides the same poison effect as the shadow  spider 

(Alignment spiders have a similar transformation animation to horror hounds, they don’t eat  off the ground, and have two attacks one attack is a poison bite attack  and the other is a poison spike attack like the shattered spiders spike attack but pure horror/brilliance instead of purple moon glass,stronger,and poisons instead of exploding both spiders types are more resistant to creatures of the same alignment and are more effective against creatures of the opposite) 

 

shadow widower II:

shadow spiders has +15 health 

you can keep  cooler longer in summer and if you have the pseudo den skill you sleep more efficiently in it

shadow widower III:

 

shadow spiders has +30 health 

you can keep  even cooler longer in summer and if you have the baby spiders skill they turn in to nurses of the corresponding skin to the beard skin you have or just triumphant and they can drain a little bit of health from nearby enemies and a it on to they’re heal

Hey, takes for all the replies, I really do appreciate them but if they are all about a new Webber Skilltree or possible skills, I think you should make your own post discussing these things so more people can access your opinions & thoughts.

Things have become busier in my life so I can’t always go back to reply to your messages. Thank you for understanding & I hope more people will see your posts, talk to you later.
