Jakepeng99
Not going to go through why the Were beaver is underpowered and needs qol and buffs because everyone has heard it many times. If you are going to fully invest in the Wood part of Woodie and give up the other two masteries, you should probably be one of the best methods at gathering Wood using a niche. Base Kit Change Increased Were beavers speed bonus to 25% (previously 15%) It takes to long to go from tree to tree so this should help, and apply some quality of life. Werebeaver I is More Smashing Were beaver also hammers faster aswell as mining faster. Were beaver still having really slow hammering speed was a little odd so here you go Woodie. Werebeaver II Qol Now it automatically uproots stumps after chopping a tree in addition. The delay was so long, so this will help alot. Werebeaver III has a new quirk Chop, mine, dig and break harder materials. Learn to make your mess less messy. "Less Messy" means that things the were beaver harvests will be auto stacked- For example, chopping a tree would drop a stack of 3 logs and a stack of 2 pine cones instead of them dropping seperatly. This skill always felt like it needed something extra on top of breaking harder materials since it is very niche for a final skill. Were Beaver Mastery Buff It is now way more consistent, less janky, and has the large radius again. When the slam hits an item, it will automatically stack it with other nearby items making picking up much easier. For example, if you used it and there were 20 logs in the slam radius, it would stack them together in one large stack of 20. This should help the slam alot. Antynomity
Genuinely all it needs is the auto stacking of items. Maxwell and Wurt would still be much faster, and they have it at base kit. Meanwhile Woodie needs to invest points and give up other masteries to still be much slower and provide no good niche. They're great. 1 hour ago, Jakepeng99 said: In addition to the existing slam, the were beaver will spawn with a log backpack upon transformation which will automatically pickup items you walk over with 18 storage slots available. Picking up items counts as "work". Don't like this, that's weird. Autostacking would be enough. Jakepeng99
Just now, Cheggf said: Don't like this, that's weird. Autostacking would be enough. Fair then, though the mastery still really needs something more to make it stand. Also thank you MY OLD MASTERY IDEA (Didn't want to delete it so i kept it here, this is not part of the changes anymore) In addition to the existing slam, the were beaver will spawn with a log backpack upon transformation which will automatically pickup items you walk over with 18 storage slots available. Picking up items counts as "work". After leaving the transformation, the bag will drop on the floor, acting like a one-way chest where you can take out whatever was inside of it, but unable to put things back in. It will destroy itself automatically when it is fully emptied, and can be done earlier with a hammer. It can be carried around like a statue. Note: It only collects and stores resources, such as minerals, logs and pinecones, thulicite, ect. This way it wont pick up random junk. No point in making a huge list of what can be picked up, but anything that would make sense can be collected. Idea of this is to grant the Were beaver the ability to pick things up faster, and gives the niche of automatically creating a temporary storage for the items it collects. Maxwell will still likely be faster, but now the Were beaver should be much closer to his speed, and can automatically store what he collects to save alot of time. Hopefully with this Woodie with the Were Beaver mastery is overall a top teir mass wood farming method- you are giving up the other two masteries and skill points after all. 5 minutes ago, Cheggf said: 100% in favor of these changes. Jakepeng99
Do you guys think Were beaver II should automatically uproot stumps? Yes and yet instead I think the action swap from gnawing a tree to gnawing it's stump should be faster, idk why there's such a delay between downing a tree to gnawing the stump, it eats up so much time in the long run.
