GeneralPenPen Posted August 7, 2023 Share Posted August 7, 2023 I personally when I play like to refresh the printables in the printing pod and while some people think this might be cheating by taking the rng out of the game I think it would be better to instead of having a random set of printables every time I think there should be a menu of items you can pick from depending on the day your colony is on much like how it already works. To avoid or try to mitigate the abuse of this you can put certain items on cool down after they have been picked to keep people from relying on the printables to survive. I'm not sure how I feel on dupe stats being able to be picked but maybe allow people to choose a class of dupe to print or something like that. overall I think the printing pod is a little lackluster right now and this would make gameplay a little more enjoyable for everyone. It would require advanced resources and modify how it works. Like allow you to set what kind of a dupe, critter or resource comes next but require power and maybe radbolts to activate.
