Dreadstone Armor Should Work Like The Dreadstone Pillars (Dreadstone Pillars Should Also Have a Larger Range)

Recommended Posts

As we have seen recently, the Dreadstone pillars have been added in recently to help be an auto-repairing version of the normal pillars. This is nice as they repair fast enough to never break from natural earthquakes. It would be incredible for Dreadstone armor to auto-repair while simply in the players inventory, and not just equipped. The trade off can be that it drains the players sanity till it's maxed out, and the player no longer has to sit with the armor on just to simply gain the effects.

Further more, instead of all of that, it could simply just have the option to repair the armor directly with more Dreadstone, seeming as it's already a pretty rare, limited material and could make it more on par with the other amor options available right now.

I also think with how expensive the Dreadstone pillars are, the range should at least be increased slightly more than the normal pillars. That way the cost isn't as high as you could use fewer pillars to cover more area.

I don't think it'd be too bad if that's a perk for the body armor and gets limited to repairing one at a time.

I think it's often overlooked that the gear can be conveniently crafted anywhere as long as you have the materials and that you don't have to exclusively rely on auto-repairing.

It is already the best armour in the game. It does not need more buffs please.

Why make already great armor even better?

Probably because it's more a QoL rather than a straight buff, although saying that there's certainly cases where you'd want to wear clothing over armour so I'm not too sure

like saying extra equip slots is QOL too. It's a buff, and big one
