Klei should incorporate some of the balance changes & ideas from the Uncompromising Mode mod

Some of the specific examples here are pretty solid like pigs attacking when you destroy houses, and the sleeping change, but I think Uncompromising Mode is held to a standard that it definitely does not meet when it comes to balance. Don't Starve is an uncompromising survival game, but Don't Starve Together isn't, it's a sandbox, and isn't meant to be super hard.

That’s actually false, but the fact that you think that…. Speaks volumes on how people perceive the two games.

DST is ACTUALLY supposed to be the Multiplayer Stand-Alone expansion to the Uncompromising Survival game Dont Starve.

It was quite literally only supposed to ever be Dont Starve but with a few friends.

Now days though- it’s hard to say what DST even is anymore..

we have new environmental hazards and then in the same update we have new permanent solutions to said new hazards, and while I personally don’t like this approach- Klei’s gonna do whatever’s the most In-demand and popular idea at the time.

So, if people think DST is more of a Sandbox then it is DS but with friends, Klei will continue to Sandbox the heck out of it rather than add some actual new challenging seasons or progressively scaling difficulty as the days you’ve survived climb in numbers.

Everyone can recharge electrical items with generators and lightning rods, but Winona can Overcharge them up to 200%, not only increasing durability but also giving them new effects.
