Airflow tile pressure damage and nuclear storage

Recommended Posts

Hello!
I've been out of the loop so before committing to infinite nuclear waste storage I would like to make sure: do airflow tile still take no pressure damage from liquids? Are mechanised doors completely equivalent for infinite nuclear waste storage or do they block much more radiation?

Thanks!

Yup, still immune to pressure damage

Radiation blocking is dependent on the element and mass in a simulation cell.  An airflow tile containing vacuum will not block any radiation.  A mechanized airlock will block an amount based on it's material.  The best material for a door would probably be uranium ore which will only block 10% of the radiation and will emit a little of it's own.

Thank you very much
