Make boss health scale for per person no 20k for 1 player

On my thousands of days old world, I only just attempted the crab king for the first time yesterday, 'attempted' being the operative word here, inspired to finally push ahead with the content on account of the recent update, going in blindly aside from a skimming of gem effects. I'm less concerned about how extreme the superboss health is than how much mechanics are involved that get in the way of the actual fighting. I cheezed the toadstool a long while back, after numerous failed attempts with being overwhelmed by more giant mushrooms than any one player could ever possibly be expected to deal with even with the best of tools, and even gunpowdering the toadstool is a near-futile endeavor what with how it just shoves the stack away from itself. In the same way, the crab king's waterspouts and claw minions make actually fighting the thing impossible because a single player doesn't have time to deal with one event before the next one comes, and there's just never an opportunity to actually attack.

I won't WANT to cheese these encounters, I want a challenge, but what with the encounter so egregiously imbalanced against a single player, that just isn't an option. I wouldn't mind so much dealing with the crazy health of these superbosses so long as the frequency of these mechanics interruptions was better balanced to be at least somewhere in sight of reasonableness.

Whether for health, mechanics frequency, or what have you, it would be nice to see some kind of balance based on the number of players in the vicinity. It probably shouldn't be an exactly even balance, it should be harder for fewer players to fight something than a group, but a single player's options shouldn't begin and end at finding a way to break the game.
