Ideas for improving new crafts

First, I would like to talk about the new damage and defense system, namely planar damage/defense. At first glance, it looks like pure damage and protection, that is, damage reduction regardless of modifiers. As an example if you have wooden armor on and you take 100 damage * 0.2 (wooden armor protection 80%) = 20 damage. if you wear brightshade you will also get 20 damage but thanks to pure defense you will get 20-10=10 and if you wear a full set then 0 damage. This is how the new weapon should work. for example, a sword has 38 damage + 30 net damage, and we attack a player with wooden armor 38*0.2=7.6+30=37.6, for example, attacking with a shadow sword with 68 damage, we will deal 68*0.2=13.6. But if we take into account damage modifiers, wigfrid has a 1.25% multiplier. Thus, without armor, the shadow sword deals 68*1.25=85 damage and the brightshade 38*1.25+30=77.5. Therefore, the new sword should be effective against enemies with armor and not so much against enemies without it.

And now I will move on to improvements

Armor

If the new system will work as I wrote above, then I would not want to change anything, it would be a great armor that can fully protect against damage no higher than 50 or no higher than 100 if it is a complete set. If not, I would probably add sleep protection for the mask and reverse damage to the attacker, something like Bramble Husk only works on the attacker and not on the area

Staff

staff I would probably increase to either do 20 net damage or increase the number of uses to 100 and add the ability to attack sleeping animals without waking them. This would be a unique feature that no other weapon has. Because now 6 bombs will inflict AOE 1200 dropped the time when the staff does 500 damage to 1 target and has a more expensive craft.

Bomb

I have no particular complaints about the bombs, they look quite strong and beautiful, the only thing is that I increased the radius to 4, because it is possible to hit with it only fairly slow mobs, of which there are not so many in DST

Sword

In the later stages of the game, darkness is not much of a threat. so I would like the sword to have a small radius of light (like a thermal stone or a little more) or the ability to put enemies to sleep, for example, after hitting a pig 1 time, it will fall asleep and then we can hit it with a staff and it won't wake up. As another option, a unique opportunity is to slow down the enemy

I would make pickaxe it on the same level as the glass ax. Now need 80% hits. That is, 16 instead of 20 with a regular pickaxe. While the glass ax is 40%. And the shovels either give an opportunity to quickly uproot or give an opportunity to dig up unfertilized plants, obtaining a sapling/bush, or seeds if it is a vegetable.
