Ginosaji
Since it's similar to the new dreadstone materials, why shouldn't Wilson be able to make thulecite after he has defeated the ancient Fuelweaver? It could require orange gems just so that the gem refinement perk would branch off into another resource rather than just upgrading lesser gems to more desirable ones. This wouldn't be game breaking either because of the requirement to have killed the afw in the world before, which would reset the Ruins anyway and enable the player to get more thulecite. We already have somewhat an idea what thulecite could be made of if we look into the ancient Archives and feeding Amberosia to the Dusk Moth. So the recipe could be salt crystals, nitre and any number of orange gems depending on amount of thulecite that Wilson gets per craft. This would make for a great resource sink for orange gems and also purple gems very much later in the game because greens have way better uses than just duping thulecite and you only need so many yellow gems for star caller staffs and magiluminesence amulets that it doesn't make much sense to do the full gem refining tree just to get more thulecite. Cassielu
If it's going to happen, I'd prefer it to happen in the form of a farmed moth that all the characters can do. Otherwise the Ancient Archive and the civilization that built it is a complete joke.
