Wilson meat effigy skill tree design ideas

Recommended Posts

Wilson as the meat effigy modeling prototype and can produce the beard character should have the meat effigy related to the skill tree.

Adopt the same structure as the beard skill tree (two branches and three skills)

  •   Branch 1: Reduces the amount of health deducted when crafting and binding meat effigy.
    • Level 1 reduces health by 5 and costs 35.
    • Level 2 reduces health by 15 and costs 25.
    • Level 3 reduces health by 35 and costs 5.

  • Branch 2: Gain more recovery after resurrecting from the meat effigy. (Originally Wilson resurrected with 50 health, 100 Spirit and 100 Hunger)
    • Level 1 restores 60 health, 110 Spirit, and 105 Hunger.
    • Level 2 restores 70 health, 120 Spirit, and 110 Hunger.
    • Level 3 restores 90 health, 140 Spirit, and 120 Hunger.

  • Final skills: Wilson does not drop any items within 12 seconds of his death after being bound to the meat effigy, and the items are temporarily preserved in the spirit. If Wilson uses the meat effigy to revive, he will keep all items after the resurrection. If not resurrected within 12 seconds, the item falls out of the spirit.

The combination of these skills is very helpful for both novice and veteran players. Reduce the cost and cost of resurrection and encourage beginners to continue exploring the game before the danger of death. For older players it can be a disguised recovery and a disguised teleportation.
In terms of balance, it is possible to compare Wanda's second chance watch horizontally, which is not too much.

I like the ideas, but I think it should instead be a linear tree skill of one point to get all levels you decribe. I'd put them as separated perks, and add more related to life and death further into the line:

EG: life and death skill tree

1st point - Meat effigy costs no health to make or attune. Telltale hearts cost no health to make.
2nd point - meat effigy brings you back at 80% hp, sanity and hunger
3rd point - Telltale hearts when used by Wilson on others, don't damage max health and bring back others at 60% life, sanity and hunger.
4th point - Wilson no longer drops items when dead (this is a really big and exploitable perk, so I'd put it as end of the line requiring all the previous perks)
