What are your initial impressions of the wilson rework?

I wish they just scrapped the beard tree as it is now and replaced it with beard care products. The recipes should be akin to Wigfrid's song that encourage exploring different parts of the world - from the ocean to the ruins. Lower tiers can be basic stuff like beard growth formula, waterproof beard hair spray and light-reflecting dye for summer. And higher tiers can have wackier effects like this:

It would combine two of his aspects as a scientist and a bearded man. But I'm afraid it's too late to change that.

In general, I thought about the tree more, and I believe it was a compromise so that players can play vanilla Wilson the way he was 9 years ago by not selecting any points. But if that was the intention, they could've gone more wild with his new abilities.

I don’t know where to provide proper feedback on the rework, I also can not accurately provide feedback because Xbox can’t participate in Betas, However.. I CAN read descriptions & watch videos about the Update & provide suggestions based on what I hear/see, and since the “Torch Toss” ability allows you to drop torches on the ground like a lantern, I thought that maybe it would be cool to suggest an “At Sea” alternative to this.

What if Wilson could use Pearls message Jars to create sort of on the water torches? Like.. I was thinking at first Jar + Fireflies = Sea Lantern.

But.. it would also be funny to see bottles in the water with the lids removed that Wilson has just crammed one of his torches over into.

Either Way, it would allow the Torches to be dropped on Water in Addition to on Land.
