I don't think it would be very pleasant. for those around them, and for the Survivors themselves. think about it. it wouldn't be a joyous reunion. they've seen things nobody should see, they've grown numb to killing and death, they've been subjected to nightmares. if they went back they'd have to adjust to so many things. they new age and technology, their nightmares and PTSD of the Constant, the sure fact that the people they trusted back home are dead. they'd be sent to mental hospitals, tested and contained. they would kill things that activated memories, maybe in front of others. maybe they would even kill in public, or the public. they would have chronic nyctophobia, fast tempers, chronic insanity. they wouldn't be happy, at all.

going back wouldn't be good. the Survivors are from 1920's-ish. who knows how much time passed in the real world? they wouldn't survive their homeworld, only the Constant.

after all, insanity is the norm in a monstrous world.

you can take the Survivor out of the Constant, but you cannot take the Constant out of the Survivor.

The survivors are taken out of chronological order at around the same time (late 1890s to early 1920s), so I'd imagine they would return during or after that era. I personally prefer them returning just after whoever disappeared last, as returning each survivor to their original time would mess up the timeline quite a bit.

Otherwise, I totally agree with you! I've never thought about how they would psychologically adjust back to the real world.

Not to mention the people that would want to unscrupulously experiment on Webber. Even if he could change back into a human without putting his wellbeing in harm and return to his family, I don't think if he'd even necessarily WANT to anymore.

He didn't exactly have the most pleasant home life, and what he truly wanted wasn't to be human; that was just his kneejerk desire he had long gotten over. He wanted friends, which he finally got. And he very much seems to enjoy his spider half now, so the option to remove it would probably feel weird to him.
