AS the name implies, it would react minerals together, liquid or solids, - therefore, a solids and liquids mineral reactor.

Dirt+sand = special cultivatable soil? Water+salt=salt water, this kind of thing, we're otherwise dependent on natural formations for some of these things that are directly attached to food like salt water.

Mineral reactor sounds hi tech. IMO it should be a simple machine maybe hand operated, something like this:

It could also create stuff like concrete which would work as a nice radiation blocker or even a space variation using regolith instead of sand. Maybe also creating rust out of iron and water.
