An in game notebook

Recommended Posts

Could we get an in game item that we could use to write list of items, to do list and other things that you do with a notebook ?

It could also be cool if wanda could upgrade it with a clock to make an agenda with alarms

I can not count the amount of times i ve been fighting dfly and forgot my panflute, this item could have saed me in so many other similar situations

You can set signs with reminders, and hammer them as you completed the tasks. Hammering them restores the board to make another sign, so it's dirt cheap.

i mean... and i can write irl what i need on a real agenda and save on hammers, the point is that this sort of item will be handy and confortable

I agree with OP, with DST being a very task-centric game a notebook would help organize the workload tons.
Alternatively, the roleplayers get a neat little survivor's compendium of their day-by-day life in the constant. That'd be fun to read through after finding one sitting next to the corpse of a dead player on a pub.

I miss an item like this, I even fixed the quick access crafts in a progressive way, but even then I always end up losing focus.

I totally agree with you.

But I've always been afraid of the answer, "make a Mod" when making suggestions like these.

But I think it would be interesting if these goals that you created yourself, were in some corner of the screen, or fixed in some craft recipe (this is not extremely necessary), it could just be a "Diary" interface when you choose to read it .

I always thought you could write down what the goal would be. They would be completed if you had the right amount of each item you defined yourself.

Like: Add X ingredients;

Do not leave the base without a certain item;

Or having a personal lock on items you shouldn't pick up yet;

Or a minimum limit of items you can carry and have everything very well accounted for so that when you consume them there are no leftovers in your inventory; (Maybe I just want 7 Flints)

Write down what would be the next thing you would do, but don't go because you've played too long.

And then you go a week or more without playing and when you get back into the game you're feeling so lost because you don't remember what you were doing.
