nimzowitsch10
I have started my own dedicated public server after finally being fed up with klei's pub servers. Everything is going good in terms of performance after some tweaking and I've invited people I know to play, but after a couple hours not even a single new player joined. I found that my server has a ping of "???" and I figure that is causing my server to be at the bottom so noone can see. I have looked up many solutions online, port forwarding 10999, running steam cmd and nullrenderer as admin, allowing DST through the firewall. Nothing has worked. Has anyone found a concrete solution to this? I see many posts on here about this issue but nothing has worked so far. I am using google cloud VM to run the server. JJJoker
Don't worry, if you are sure that port forwarding is normal, you only need to wait for the refresh in the game hall interface. The IP and ports of each new DST server require the client for a period of time to successfully analyze and cache.
Daniel86268
That problem just comes and goes once in a while. Even happens to Klei's official servers once in a while, so if you've set up port forwarding properly, there not much else you can do.
