[New Mod] Mod Presets - Release

Hey everyone! My brother (@AlbertoRomanach) and I were finally able to crank out another mod over these past few days. We're really happy with this one, and we wanted to share it with you guys on the forums.

Mod Presets

This mod allows you to create mod presets for server mods. If you're making a new server or modifying the mods for an existing server, you can apply and store presets with this mod. It adds a preset box on the mods tab in the server settings screen. You can name, describe, edit, and delete whatever presets you would like.

This mod is very similar to Klei's existing preset system for world configurations, and the code is heavily derived from it. So, if you're familiar with the world settings preset system, then you're good to go! The UI is exactly the same.

Roadmap

• We'd eventually like to add an easier way to import and export mod presets, that way two friends can easily share their mod setup.
• What happens if someone gives you a mod preset that references mods you don't have?
• Potentially make this mod compatible with our In-Game Mod Manager that allows you to change client mods while you're in-game.
• Add another preset box to the Mods screen from the MAIN MENU so you can create presets for client mods too.

Update Title

I hope this makes it into the game officially soon-ish, it's such a needed thing if using several mods!

Also, amazing work! Doing Klei's work for them !

@. . . I'm sure they leave some things open for people to mod, otherwise half the utilities on the workshop would be implemented, and then we'd be out of a job!

Hey forums!

We just released an update to the mod that finally allows you to create presets for client mods too! I guess we can mark that off our Roadmap now...

Let us know if there are any other features you would like us to add. We want to make sure the mod keeps working properly and to your liking.
