The Everything Encyclopedia should be able to affect Tackle Receptacle & Terra Firma Tamper recipes

Recommended Posts

So currently The Everything Encyclopedia temporarily allows players to prototype recipes from Science Machine, Alchemy Engine, Prestihatitator, etc. but not these newer prototype stations. Why not? Items in these tabs are neither extremely powerful nor entirely designed for late game.

Yay on Tackle, nay on Terra.

The tackles is very easy to acquire and we can see the stuff in the fishing tab from the get go.

Terra Firma however is something an average player won't even know about or access and it's existance is tied to the archives, which is also hidden away. Just like the celestial recipes, I think the turf recipes from terra firma should only be accessed by the terra firma.

That makes sense, since Shadow Manipulator recipes're also limited

Wasn’t it Wickerbottom who helped Woodie learn how to create his itchy idols and utilize his curse to his advantage? That’s some heavy shadow magic right there.. so to have those crafts not be covered by this book is kind of unfitting? I understand that from a gameplay perspective it would be pretty broken and OP.. but I can’t help but think of a synergy with Maxwell & his Minions that lets her grant them Shadow Armor/ Nightmare swords..

Wickerbottom did not CREATE the Curse Woodie suffers.. she just helped create idols to abuse the curse to his advantage.

Just like she’s not creating the nightmare fuel powered Shadow Minions.. but I’m pretty sure she could boost their power same as she helped Woodie.

Then again: I’m sure Klei already thought of this and felt it was way too OP to do.
