I made a lureplant farm on boats well before the update came out, so there was absolutely nothing I could have done to prevent what happened:

-Moon Quay Island generates close to my base.

-I briefly hop onto my boats to collect leafy meat.

-Raid appears

-I helplessly watch as there is no way to slow the monkeys down, and they ram my boats, scattering them all and creating leaks.

You could argue this is my fault for not repairing the leaks and repositioning my boats, but seeing as this happened day 1 of this update... It's just not worth keeping my farm like this, I'm being punished for building near something that didn't exist at the time of me building it, and I'm forced to start a new lureplant farm, which isn't all that bad for me, but it would be HORRIBLE if it happened to someone's entire pre-Moon Quay boat base.

My suggestion: After entering a boat, monkeys shouldn't raid that boat until it moves at least 8 Wilsons away from where it was before entering it. After all, I wasn't seafaring, I was just chilling on my stationary boat at base.

you were just unlucky unfortunately that island retrofitted close to your place not much can be done about that

That's my point though, it's unlucky with no solution other than being lucky. I think it would be nice if the player had to actually be sailing around to find monkey raids, bc I'm pretty sure the intent of this mechanic is to occur while the player is seafaring.
