GwoonSven Posted May 14, 2022 Share Posted May 14, 2022 So background: I was messing around with dedicated servers until I decided to give up, so I removed the random files I made for the dedicated servers from the DoNotStarveTogether folder A few weeks later, I am playing as Winona and my sanity lies around 30 - 40%, when I noticed that im not hearing the whispering or the insanity ambience. I have no clue why since in singleplayer don't starve (on same pc) I hear them just fine, so I think I maybe might have removed the sound file/removed the wrong folder. I have little experience with these kind of things so, what do I do?? BezKa Posted May 14, 2022 Share Posted May 14, 2022 Everyone experiences this. It's ought to be a bug- the early insanity effects disappeared a few updates back. It's been reported a few times but not fixed. For missing files, verifying you files on steam should fix any issues, but as I said, this is a bug for everyone atm.
