I just find inventory slots extremely valuable especially the first year since I'm picking up pretty much everything as I explore. I end up hoarding too much and need to stash on the floor somewhere as I look for the "perfect" place to build.

Grave digging for gems and trinkets, chopping living trees, basic resources like grass, twigs and flints, building resources like wood, stone and gold, culling spider infested areas and stray pigs, obtaining 8 reeds.

Plus all the tools, weaponry/armor, light and food I might be carrying since I don't like to leave stray junk everywhere enless I know it will benefit another takes up alot of my space.

But once I get established I can get organized leaving my valuables in designated chests and dropping my tools in a corner until I need them again. But even when I'm in base I'm likely going to need extra space just to move things between containers or to cook comfortably.

Even in the following seasons I'm still probably going to want to haul tons of things to and from boss locations or I'm wiping biomes of their natural resources for my own gain gonna need alot of pockets for that.
