1.  Post-apocalyptic nuclear winter:  Some players already play this way on purpose, by setting their world to permanent winter.  I'd say it would suck but, in the hands of that kind of player, they might make it.  (I personally haven't quite done THAT, but I have survived winter starts and had a world once where winter was 40 days long every year.)
Recently I've been watching a YouTube channel about life in Siberia, in The Coldest Town in the World.  If real-life people can make it THERE...

2. Green post-apocalyptic.  Oh EASILY.  Tha'ts just regular Don't Starve.

3.  Alien world with five elements:  Simple, they could just live in the "nature" area most of the time, maybe putting on protective clothes/magic to gather supplies from the other ones when needed.  Winona would probably figure out some way to run pipes into the Wind and Fire ones as a power source.  And the Water area would be liveable with boat cities, too.

4.  Sky area...what came into my mind here first was Arianus, the Realm of Air, from the "Death Gate Cycle" books.  But with extreme weather all the time...I dunno, ask any Shipwrecked player who has learned to batten down against Hurricane Season.

5.  Alien space station. They'd be HELLA confused, but depending on the space station, they might eventually be all right.  I'm thinking like, Deep Space Nine or Babylon 5, where there's aliens AND humans around the place and, (when everything is working correctly) food, air, gravity, etc. to make it comfortable.  I know you said "BMO", but I'm more imagining Captain Sisko politely greeting Wormwood and Wurt as members of new alien races.  XD

...Notorious
