A couple of suggestions

Recommended Posts

Hey there.Really enjoying the beta so far and just have a couple of suggestions that I think will improve it.Would it be possible to add in a full screen mode? My desktop resolution is a bit too low for the game and it's a bit annoying to have to change it every time I want to play the game. If I try to use Chrome's zoom function the mouse pointer gets out of alignment which makes the game extremely difficult to play. Also, how about adding in the support for just holding down the mouse button for chopping, mining, attacking etc?Would make these sort of actions a bit smoother I think.Keep up the good work on the game!

I second the hold to do an action thing. And how about a toggle or something to be able to pickup items, or a priority window on recent drops. If I chop down a tree, sometimes I can't grab the logs unless I chop down another tree which is blocking them.

Thanks for your feedback!I have to take another pass at action selection at some point. In the meantime, try pressing left and right on the keyboard if something is blocked and you can't pick it up.

I sometimes have a bug where I can't interact with the items in my inventory (for example eating or dropping) until I perform some action on the overworld (picking something up for instance). Willow says "Thats my name!" in response to the tombstone that has Wilson on it.Could there be a button that forces movement? Getting stuck in a forested area while running from enemies is frustrating since clicking on trees forces an examine, regardless of the distance.

Ha! I didn't realize the Wilson/Willow tombstone thing. There is a surprising amount of text in the game. The inventory bug is something that I'm trying to track down. It has *something* to do with being interrupted while doing an action. You can always walk using the WASD keys, if that helps you in the forest.

I second the OP's suggestions, fullscreen option or maybe something that initializes chromes fullscreen setting would be nice. Also, holding down a button to do something that requires continuous repetition is a must, the same idea as how you can hold down left click to keep moving.
