Unfawkable
I love the pipe meters, but it really irked me that they are limited to 500 Kg, so I made this handy Automation with a counter that can reset the meter any number of times you like. Those are 2 AND, one NOT, and a Signal Counter in regular (Non advanced state). Simply input the number in the Signal counter, and that's how many times the meter valve will send a 500 Kg packed (Or any other number you set times the counter number) Edit: Here is a simplified version as I was made aware in the comments that the second AND is not needed, the bridge was only used cause my Auto Sweeper was in the way: Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/136675-my-pipe-meter-automation/ Share on other sites
Jann5s
Thanks, I’ll definitely try this out. I’ve been trying to do the same but I gave up because my versions weren’t stable. All too often they would just keep sending infinitely. Did you encounter such issues too? Also, do you really need the two ANDs? They have the same inputs. The bottom AND is preventing the infinite sending that I encountered without it. The Meter is sending out the Green signal when it finishes the last round of sending, resulting in resetting the signal counter and starting over thus going infinitely. The second AND prevents that until you reset the signal counter. Edit: I just realized what you asked, and yeah, could just take a wire from the top and and send it to the signal counter, guess I overlooked that Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/136675-my-pipe-meter-automation/#findComment-1530290 Share on other sites
NikiHammerforce
Some time ago I also tried to automate pipe meter, but I failed just like Jann5s. I used several pipe meters in parallel instead for same functionality. I will try this design on my next run, thanks!
