How do I plant stuff on farmland as Wormwood?

Recommended Posts

You hover your cursor over the tilled land with your seed of choice selected and right-click (if on PC). Try to plant inside of the tile, an area which can be seen when holding a pitchfork.

Geometric Placement helps with this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=351325790&searchtext=geometric

Wormwood has a massively convenient and time-saving perk, which allows him to instantly plant seeds by simply right clicking on the farm soil, without using any hoes and long planting animations. Holding space to talk to your plants is also much faster, which is why he is such a good character when you're introducing yourself to gardening.
You can give yourself temporary bloom, which pops up after a few days and lasts for 3 days in total, by using a Spoiled Fish Morsel, or Glommer Goop, or Compost Wrap - those are the cheap early options when it's not your first spring yet. When you bloom, you leave trails of flowers, which means walking over your crops will instantly "talk" to them in a big radius.

Welcome to gardening and Wormwood, I hope you have lots of fun!

First you gotta summon God, like there's 5% chance they appears but it makes the process a whole lot easier. If you are familiar with how to communicate with omniscient beings then skip this step. But if you aren't then here's what you need to do, first sing some praises (while you are at it ask if there's a hell and do you have a place in it) and then tell them to plant the seeds, they will do it and then be on their merry way.

If that doesn't work then you can summon the edgy dude with the red horns, this has a much higher chance of working, don't ask why, you need to tell them you need to plant some seeds dude and then he will need you to sign a few papers (thoroughly read them first) and then they will plant all the seeds.

If none of that works report it to the bug tracker.
