Disable pause when console is open

Is such a thing possible? It certainly throws me off.

It's a game setting. I don't remember which tab it's in, but it's there.

But that's only for the basic pause menu. It doesn't seem to affect the console

You used the setting that affects the pause menu. There is another for the console.
