please add fire. wood, coal, hydrogen, etc. would burn if they have oxygen in an adjacent tile, and something caused a spark. air filters would make filtered air that is still breathable but has less oxygen(therefore reducing the chance of fire) and requires higher pressure to be more breathable. firefighting skill, fire hydrants, and fire extinguisher. lvl 1 of skill would allow use of extinguisher, lvl 2 would allow use of fire hydrant/hose. rocket take off, most buildings, and exposed liquids at 600C+ would give off sparks(magma, liquid metals, etc.). fire would consume items and generate heat and carbon dioxide(water vapour in the case of ethanol and hydrogen, as they burn cleanly), and could damage buildings, dupes, and critters. 

Add rocket access while in flight, requiring a space access module stocked with petrol, O2, and a jet suit, and would allow dupes to go between several spacefarer modules, access storage, and more.

space shuttles that have a short range, ad require a special platform built on each end. cheap, simple and fast, they would carry up to two dupes for quick travel in between planetoids.

add wall plants that grow horizontally, such as the tile canopy. it requires water dripped on it to live, but it allows all other liquids and gasses to pass through, and you can build buildings on it. you could go up through it, but not down, and gives a high decor bonus. special mutated variants can filter PO2 and are permeable to items.

able to explore special space POI, having a small area, where you could not land a rocket, but you could make a small build, find critters, plants, and resources, as well as gravitas ruins containing space filter research points. on these POI you could build space filtering stations, collecting small amounts of space filter research, and materials.

new research box: super space power. allows you to build interplanetary cables to transmit up to 150KW between planets, but require a rocket with a special module to set up, and a power station built at each end.

Fire was a planned feature but for some reason the devs decided against it. It`s probably beacause of the amount of interconnected stuff that would need to be added and how hard it would be to handle all the flammable stuff in the game.

It`s still definitely possible but unlikely in this dlc. Maybe a second one could add proper fires along with proper firefighting mechanisms.

Or power transmission via microwaves, with a sender and receiver buildings, and a high loss rate, perhaps attenuated by distance. Would still be worth it to get power from an established base over to a new colony on a frozen rock far from the Sun. You could even base this on the radbolt mechanic now that the attenuation rate has been reduced.
