Is Oxygen Not Included coming to Console (PS4, Xbox, Switch)?

I could see the new Xbox and play station being able to handle ONI from a specs perspective but a console port would require a complete UI overhaul to work so not likely.

Then again complete UI overhauls for ports isn’t unheard of. For instance Terraria being a relatively similar game has done a pretty good job porting the game to console.

I've played when I was in the hospital with my Razer Kishi remapped in Steam, and while I had to play at a slower speed than I'm used to, and it was a bit clumsy, the game is perfectly playable in this way. Granted using the right stick as a cursor isn't the most ideal situation but would work for placing objects and dig commands, etc.
