Bolck Posted August 25, 2021 Share Posted August 25, 2021 Hi guys, I have never figured out of this is just not possible or maybe I need to do some automation: Sometimes it is needed to relocate small amounts of stuff, good example is using the supply teleporter to move good morale food from asteroid A to B. When I tell the teleporter/conveyor loader to start accepting the food, my dupes will supply the teleporter with large amounts of food straight away. The loader can hold 1000kg. So basically in a couple runs they empty planet A from all that specific food. Same goes for other stuff that is available in small amounts, like seeds. Is there some possibility to do something in game like: Dupes, please teleport 12kg of grubfruit preserve to your brothers and sisters on asteroid B via de teleporter? SackMaggie Posted August 25, 2021 Share Posted August 25, 2021 Spoiler To clarify things a bit So you fill fridge(or smart storage) with limited amount of stuff you want, Once it full it will send green signal to OR gate and send you a notification after that you flick the Signal switch to ON (unpause the game and then turn it OFF) the Auto-Sweeper will swing stuff into loader and send it to the portal(assume power station as a portal) after 10s everything reset. Thing to note a bit, There are two doors on the right side upper one is set to exit only and bottom one are in\out once storage is filled the door lock prevent more stuff to be load. Keep your fridge/storage away from right door dupe can reach through lock door 3 tiles away and left side of portal should be blocked. Filter time depends on how much stuff you wanted to load config it as you wish, the middle door doesn't mean anything I just want it locked. You can further improve this design by hooking cycle sensor instead of Signal switch and it will be like "send X stuff through portal every cycle at this time" assume dupe will load stuff for you. Definately over my head automation wise, but that means I have to lok into it, I'll learn. @others thanks for mentioning the convyor meter, I guess I haven't noticed it yet. That meter works on a conveyor line. So if I understand correctly, if I want to send to another asteroid via teleporter, two different items every day.. I would need two conveyor loaders each a meter? And after that it would converge on the rail inwards the teleporter? Figure that out and it will be golden!
