YOLO KNIGHT
I was trying to "restart" my first colony using a worldgen seed. The world it generates has different vents at a minimum. Is this because the original colony was well before the codebase merge, or am I not understanding how to start with a manually entered seed (I paste it into the worldgen number field on the setup screen)
Fradow
Worldgen sometime changes when developers change some things. It's currently changes a lot because of Spaced Out. In particular, yes, any seed that was used before Mergedown will now produce a different world. This also means that Tools Not Included seeds are currently outdated (the site is still configured for pre-mergedown worldgen and the author didn't have the time to update it yet). LadenSwallow
Tools Not Included can still be used to generate worlds with certain traits (frozen core/geo-active/miscalculated pod location/irregular oil for instance) though, if that is your desire. YOLO KNIGHT
Nah, I was hoping to restart on the exact same map but it's NBD if it doesn't work.
