Automation for resource amount

Recommended Posts

Recently "food conservation" topics become very popular:

I would like to have automation device, which will react to amount of calories. For an example, if my colony eat 50.000 of calories, and currently I have 2.000.000 calories, I don't need to cook anymore. Of course, such automation should have checkboxes, like fringe, where I will be able to choose which food I want to track.

Isn't this just hooking up a fridge to a grill with a single automation wire?

no, but actually, may be. Same logic as for water-gas tanks (with two sliders), may do the trick. Need to just add additional automation-out-port

It would be great if net generated calories were in the diagnostics panel. As for automation, I would love to have a "freshness" check either as a conveyor rail sensor or a slider in the fridge

Like the daily summary panel?

too complex solution, because you need to do it for any kind of food. Because 100kg of frost burger = 10000000 kalories, and 100kg of fried dirt = 100 calories (numbers are not exact).
