So anyone can merge with a spider and become a "webber" right?

Anyone with a spider and an alchemy engine should be able to merge into a webber right?

From what I can tell it wasn't a freak accident. The spider was experimented on in a specific way so it's definitely replicate-able. And Maxwell and Wagstaff definitely know how to recreate the procedure seeing how Wagstaff created the procedure and Maxwell sees and knows all related to the constant.

So logically, any character who consults Maxwell or Wagstaff should be able to turn into a "Webber" right? Or am I wrong?

Naturally we don't know if the boy Webber just happened to posses the right kind of qualities for the merger- height, weight, body type, lack of spider allergies, but in theory, yes; the short tells us that any human with roughly same size as boy Webber may be transformed if they stand in the vicinity of an agitated spider specimen from the constant that was just freed via the breaking of the special container used by Wagstaff. All it takes is one large bite, presumably big enough to envelop one's head in without causing their instant death.
