Background logic here, I did some worldgen modding a while back and thinned the vanilla POIs down to smaller footprints to avoid severe biome break infractions and this method helped And I had considered Abyssalite, but this was prior to ceramic being a building material. This material seems fitting to the existing tile art and decor as well, and would also be a nice thermal buffer for tile POIs that may potentially bridge biome borders.
