TemporarySolutn
So I learned something months back, you put the spider eggs on the boat and the haha! they cannot escape! but recently I have discovered that spiders don't seem to respawn from their dens if they are on boats anymore, furthermore the dens don't upgrade automatically. Is this a bug or an intended feature meant to stop me from being happy?
MondayNight
Is intended. Was a change in a recent update - here's the post: On 2/4/2021 at 8:22 PM, Jason said: Spider nests on boats no longer regenerate spiders.

DarkPulse91
Yep, this was fixed in the year of the beefalo update they used to respawn without the nest ever upgrading. But this was (obviously) super strong for farming spider meat and silk. So they made it so spiders no longer respawn from nests on boats Kinda weird how that whole thing of spiders spawning but the nests not growing was in response to another cheese where nests would grow but not spawn spiders, so you could easily farm silk without worry by just letting the nests grow to tier 3 then kill them and replant the eggs
