Sweetsegi
After downloading the update today (1/28/21), I started a new game in the Spaced Out DLC. It lagged after I chose dupes and I thought it froze. When it loaded in, I was greeted with 6 dupes - 2 pairs of each starting dupe. I am going to keep playing this, because who wouldn't want 6 starting dupes. I just wanted to post this so you were aware of the issue.

It took about 38 cycles before food is an issue.
kisukin
this interesting... if you have a option like rimworld ( choose 1-3-5 duplicants to start, or 6 in this case ) . Start with 6 in maximum difficult settings will be challenging start ^^. I like got 3 and some extra in printer for 2 main reasons : A fresh printed duplicant starts with 1 skill point I like the RNG factor ( take someone isn´t perfect) combinated with some extra time to manage some rooms. The Plum Gate
I like the idea of choosing 1 and then two relatively restricted care packages. Or just adding a tight subset of care packages to the selection screen in place of dupes. So starting with at least 1 dupe. I think it would be an interesting twist on opt-in difficulty.
