iuiu
Manual generator is to convert duplicants power into electricity, which consumes the time of duplicants and produces electricity. Natural gas/Petroleum generators consume fossil energy, produce electricity, pollute water and carbon dioxide. But hydrogen generator consume hydrogen, produce electricity only. Shouldn't it also produce water?
goetzjam
Wouldn't seem logical given you need to split water in order to get oxygen and hydrogen. You just split and get endless liquid then? The hydrogen generator also produces twice what dupes can with 1 wheel. Nat gas is a limited supply sort of thing, you get what you get, you can make more from a little bit of machines and ranching, as well as farting dupes, but thats a good reason. Furthermore, regarding petro, they require liquid so its only logical that you get liquid back so you can keep recycling. Ultimately tho, not everything needs to recycle, in the current game hydrogen is highly useful for a number of things, using it for power aside from early\midgame is one of the worst uses. Cooling, rockets, ect all seem to be way better.
Gardibard
Well I mean... The whole process of hydrogen combustion is that it releases energy from bonding with oxygen in the air to create water. So I agree with OP for the scientific accuracy!
yoakenashi
The hydrogen generator makes power by fusing hydrogen instead of burning it. The problem is that helium is not coded into the game, so the output helium does not appear.
