[Help] Edible Ham Bat for my character only.

So I want the edible Hambat but to my mod character only.  (and it'll get spoils a bit when consumed)

I searched and read about edible hambat but theres only a mod that everyone could eat it.

 

((I've only created 1 character mod for DST  so I still dont know much about other items .lua files (items stuffs and these locations).))

I found topic thats similar to mine. 

but it'll eat the whole thing. Is it possible to mod edible item but will only reduces the value/spoiled time/etc..?

assign the hambat a unique foodtype

 

add to character's diet

I think it'll kaching kachow the whole hambat at once.  

Wonder if it's possible to just reduces the HamBat's spoiling time down when consumed.

You would have to modify your character's eater.Eat function.
