upchuckredring Posted October 22, 2020 Share Posted October 22, 2020 I’m a quadriplegic that must use an “ON-SCREEN KEYBOARD and ON-SCREEN MOUSE WITH DWELL CLICK” to play PC games. Yes, I use a custom AutoHotkey script to edge scroll now, but it’s not ideal. It’s very irritating because I often click things I don’t intend too. Timed dwell clicking and auto clicking don’t play nice together. Using an “On-screen keyboard + On-screen mouse with dwell clicking + AutoHotkey” is quite difficult/irritating... If you can not add edge scroll, can you allow for customization of the WASD? The ability to increase the amount of movement per click? And scale it up/down for zoom level? OR have a click to move and stop setting. Click W to continuously move left until you click W again to stop moving. I do however feel most people DISABLED or NOT would appreciate edge scroll for this type of game? Am I wrong? Charles Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Zoom out -> move -> zoom in is faster than scrolling. But that's with normal input methods Of course there are a large number of QoL mods that should - arguably - be in vanilla. I don't really understand why edge scrolling isn't at least an option (many strategy games allow you to toggle it).
