[Help me!] Custom character: No silver name, golden name or big portrait

Hey, it's-a me again!

I've been wrestling with this problem for a while: I can't make my character's name, golden name, big portrait and basic stats reveal in the character selection screen. I've tried every fix tutorial I could find here, but none of them solved my issue.

I'm in the middle of figuring this out too, and have some of it fixed.  I recorded some of my actions here:  

I have't been able to fix the name tag yet, but it's just a matter of time I think.  Basically the issue was the two animation compiling files were misnamed, so when I used the auto-compiler, it generated files with the wrong names, soooo when the game went looking for the files it found nothing.  Hope this helps you.

Has this been fixed yet? If not, to fix the selection screen name, go into names_gold_spinel.xml and replace gold_spinel.tex with spinel.tex
