I started basing in a biome that is separated from the mosaic biome by sea and it seemed safe but now I am not so sure. These fields just keep on expanding and expanding. Dunk Mujunk Posted June 22, 2020 Share Posted June 22, 2020 I don't know how big they will grow, but on our current map the meteor shower has grown enough to reach across a narrow stream of water into a dark forest biome. It only just barely crossed, and it doesn't seem to be spreading anymore though. They have predetermined spawn points (so it seems they are expanding but really it’s just a different spawn point that day) and basing three screens away from rocky biome edges will keep you safe from them.
