Owlrust Posted June 2, 2020 Share Posted June 2, 2020 While it would be a nice feature to include in world gen options, I feel as though it could keep players from getting to other islands if the starting one did not come prepared with the materials needed to sail to other ones. It would have to make sure whatever island you spawn on first had enough resources to build a boat platform, you don’t actually NEED all that other fancy stuff to build a boat and get it moving, 1 platform, 1 oar and your good to go, sure it will be a slow journey.. but that’s the point of going to other islands and gathering stuff to better improve your boat. Klei can always do like Adventure mode in solo DS.. where your given a starting area of the resources you need like king of Winter. Exactly, like the start island in SW always has the stuff to make a raft.
