make birds fly away when damaged

i find it stupid when if u are weak character like wendy if u hit boomerang at a birds face it will just stand there all stupid and not fly away while rabbits and moles to run away. i know if i was a bird i would fly away after getting badly hurt

They already try to fly away if you hit them with a melee weapon too weak to kill them in one hit, although sometimes I can get in a second hit before they take off.

yeah but they just fly away cause you are near them. if you are not near them and you hit them with a range weapon they just stand there unlike rabbits and moles
