Server setting

playing dont starve together alone is way more easier then muti player, for my case i play with 5 friend, in total 6. I found it impossible to survive, i found there isnt enough resource such as food for that much player in the server, so i wonder, is there any server setting such as increase the food amount will make our situation more playable, and what is the ideal world setting for 6 player?

Hello @JoJohnJohnny, welcome to the forums. Before anyone info dumps a lot of playstyles OR advice on how to manage and survive with 6 players. You can actually change the world generation PRIOR to starting the server. The Forest tab in the Host Game screen should lists things you can increase for more of them to spawn in the world.

With regards to food, you could increase the Carrots (that are by default planted all over). OR increase Rabbits, for more rabbit holes to spawn from. OR increase Berry Bushes for more berries. There are many more other options in there you can adjust to your liking. It's you and your friends' server so feel free to adjust/change what ever and however you like.

Common advice you might get is that you may want to look into diversifying your food sources (youtube can help with that) AND/OR learning the many different recipes DST offers OR leaning into certain character perks to increase food production through farming, hunting etc.

I think  that some of these 6 players expends to much time near the campafire without gather resources xD

is Klei waiting until they're done with RoT before they update the world settings with the new content? I have a feeling they're completely forgetting about it.
