BillW
I set up a cloud server of DST and operated it well. My friends can connect to it well and play the game fluently (ping < 50 ms). But I can't play it well. The ping in the game showed more than 150 ms and even much worse. But if I ping the IP address directly with Powshell in my computer, it shows a low delay (about 50 ms). I wonder if someone can give me some suggestions. Thanks so much! Developer nome Posted April 13, 2020 Developer Share Posted April 13, 2020 Ping from powershell uses ICMP pings (echo request/echo response). Those are handled by the OS, before it even gets to DST. If you have bad numbers from that then the problem is at the OS/networking level, nothing to do with DST.
