DarkMaster13
One rather annoying thing at the moment is the need to have a separate manufacturing station for each recipe we want to automate. I didn't see anything related to putting a ribbon into one of those production buildings, but it would be great if we could get the option to plug a ribbon into one and then use that to enable or disable specific recipes. Each of the four bits can say whether or not we want four different recipes active or not. That's a substantial improvement for automating buildings like the metal refinery or gas range which require liquid/gas inputs and are much more annoying to have multiple copies of just to automate several recipes. Sasza22
I think i mentioned it in one of the patchnote threads. Having an extra ribbon port for fabricators would be amazing. It would let us control up to 4 different recipies and make fridge automation and smart storage useful.
DarkMaster13
This can probably work as something you just directly connect into the automation port. There shouldn't be a separate port needed.
Sasza22
But the regular automation turns the building on and off. The ribbon would be programmed for different stuff. But maybe the ribbon could actually have the 1st wire trun the entire machine on and off and the other 3 control selected recipies.
