Can not use pacu shipment

This is the second time I got a pacu shipment and can not put it into the fish release. The baby fish from the incubator can be used with the fish release.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I've set the fish release to 20 critters, checked all aquatic critters (includes pacu, of course). There's no wrangle nor priority on the flopping pacus.

Build a door below portal, when you get pacus at portal, open the door, let them drop in a small pool below door.
When they lay eggs, put the eggs, where you want them.

Personally, I usually place a ladder down next to the printer and have a pool at the bottom of the base below that. Comes with some risk that Meep will pee in that pool, but Pacus will find their way nicely from the pod.

Flopping pacu can be transported and placed in a fish release once caught in a fish trap. They flop into it, and then the duplicants can pick them up.
