New biome guarded by boss

What are your thoughts about an optional biome that requires defeating a boss to enter?

As of now, desert and swamp are extremely dangerous biomes but if a player is very careful he can navigate them alone, at least a little bit.

How about a biome which has an aggressive and fast creature that chases the player while he is in the biome?

hounds are aggressive and fast already, so it might seem like im suggesting a second desert biome, however they are locked to only a small area in the desert itself and you can navigate it avoiding them. Effectively, new creature would chase the player in the whole biome so the player wont be able to bypass it like hounds in desert, this difference makes this biome 'locked' unless the player deals with the threat/boss..

The idea is to push players to work together to get access to it - either by fighting it or one player distracting it while the other collects the resources inside the biome.

How would people access this in single player games though?

would it be an optional Boss that can be turned off in settings like the AntLion?

People tend to forget that even though this game is called Don’t Starve Together that there actually is options to host offline single player worlds.
