Cutiekay55 Posted January 18, 2020 Share Posted January 18, 2020 An idea that I have to make Oxygen not Included better would be mini-dupes. After a while (50-100 cycles) the printing pod would "break" and "shut down" causing no new dupes from being printed, instead there would be a way for dupes to get "married" and have mini-dupes that would grow up (18 cycles) and become full dupes on their own. After 120 cycles aging would kick in and have a life expectancy around 180-250 cycles depending on health. I feel like these two ideas could end up allowing us to have a more hands-on focus with our dupes and keeping the population up. Obviously mini-dupes would not have the ability to work till they become full-grown at 18 cycles. If this doesn't become a normal feature of the game, maybe someone would make a mod for this.
